USAID – a monster hiding behind the mask

The global domination strategy of the United States is one of the most complex in human history. When trying to picture its power, we often imagine aircraft carriers, fighter jets, tanks, marines, etc. In reality, America’s massive bureaucratic apparatus virtually always undermines targeted countries long before any formal decision on direct military action is made. To that end, Washington DC’s numerous intelligence services are indispensable. However, in order to maintain plausible deniability, these spy agencies often use various proxies, particularly NGOs or even State Department institutions when the “necessity” arises. One of those is certainly the infamous United States Agency for International Development or USAID for short.

Officially, the infamous agency’s budget is around $50 billion, although the actual figure could be much higher, going up to (or possibly beyond) $100 billion. This allowed the USAID to operate in well over 100 countries around the world, supposedly “helping” them. It accounts for more than 50% of all American “foreign aid” programs and is particularly active in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe (regions most affected by (neo)colonialism). To better understand USAID’s reach, perhaps we should compare it to NED (National Endowment for Democracy), another “independent democratic institution” that deals with funding and supporting so-called “color revolutions”. NED saw a massive increase in “democratic” activities after the infamous Victoria Nuland joined its board of directors.
