Elon Musk blunders an attempt to buy a judge's election
Co-President Elon Musk posted a tweet late on March 27, reading:
“On Sunday night, I will give a talk in Wisconsin.
“Entrance is limited to those who have voted in the Supreme Court election.
“I will also personally hand over two checks for a million dollars each in appreciation for you taking the time to vote.
“This is super important.”
By noon on March 28, however, the post had been deleted.
Likely because Musk’s lawyers might have suggested to him that what he proposed to do is against Wisconsin law, which says it is a felony to offer, give, lend or promise to lend or give anything of value to induce a voter to cast a ballot or not........
