Texas targeting Tylenol is all about AG Paxton's personal gain

Although I am not a native Texan, I do love living here. The Texas economy is booming, and its emphasis on liberty and family values is important to me. Here, you can eat all the delicious barbecue you want, see a cowboy riding a horse in the middle of town, and people can carry a handgun without a license to carry.

It's glorious.

But man, does our Attorney General Ken Paxton like to put Texas in the spotlight over strange things, often making the state look silly. I've said before that, depending on how you look at him, Paxton is either a hero or a villain. Here in Texas, and right now, he's probably a little of both.

Paxton announced Oct. 28 that his office is suing Johnson & Johnson and its spin-off company Kenvue, the makers of Tylenol, after President Donald Trump linked autism to Tylenol use while pregnant. Paxton claims that companies "willfully ignored and attempted to silence the science" that connected Tylenol to autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, which, in turn, he said violates the state's consumer protection laws.

What?
