Like millions of Floridians, I stand with Gov. Ron DeSantis and Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo in opposing the coercive vaccine mandates in Florida.

Legal mandates are simply unnecessary to ensure positive public health outcomes. Informed decision-making and responsible individual choice are all that is needed to ensure that positive public health outcomes are achieved in our great state. 

Since Dr. Ladapo announced that the Florida Department of Health will work with Gov. DeSantis' office to end all mandates in state law in roughly 90 days, a massive public debate has emerged on this issue.

For me, the issue is simple: I believe in personal choice, personal responsibility and parental choice. 

I trust Floridians. A parent who wants a child vaccinated has that choice........
