So are we not doing the democracy thing anymore?!

It was not all that long ago when saving democracy was all the rage in the press. Like, just months ago, if memory serves. Trump was going to ruin democracy, the press would stop him, and the Democrats would save it – so went the script.

Well, suddenly democracy is considered a bad thing when it comes to Ukraine. Newsweek has come out with the declaration that it would be a horrible idea if that country held elections because it could lead to Volodymyr Zelenskyy losing and no longer running the show. This is where the press has landed.

So Trump needed to have lawfare thrown at him and an attempt needed to be made to remove him from ballots, all in the name of democracy because they do not like him and he could win, but Ukraine cannot have elections because they like Zelenskyy and he could lose.
