Macron and Cheese

The French president helps us realize why France is sliding off the world stage on its way to becoming a modern caliphate.

Emmanuel Macron is Europe’s biggest disappointment. When he entered office, people expected a French Kennedy—young, dynamic, charismatic, and successful on the world stage. Instead, they received one of the clowns that fell off of the train as it moved between Paris and Bordeaux. Between beatings from his wife, Macron helped cement his reputation for having cement where most people have neurons.

The French president announced that France would recognize a Palestinian state at the UN confab in September. I hate quoting anyone whose IQ is less than the number of shoes he wears, but we need his statement in order to understand why Macron and many others simply grandstand on Israel and many other important issues:

“We need an immediate ceasefire, the release of all hostages, and massive humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza. We must also ensure the demilitarization of Hamas, secure and rebuild Gaza. And finally, we must build the State of Palestine, guarantee its viability, and ensure that by accepting its demilitarization and fully recognizing Israel, it contributes to the security of all in the region.”

Let’s look at some of the glaring internal conflicts in Macron’s statement.

*Immediate ceasefire and release of all hostages. Hamas has made it clear that it will not entertain any ceasefire that does not include an end to the war and removal of all IDF troops from Gaza. Israel for its part wishes to reserve the right to return to fighting after any ceasefire and has discussed keeping parts of Gaza in the north and south so as to prevent further deadly attacks. Hamas could release all hostages today. Instead, it plans for a slow drip in order to remain in power.

*Demilitarization. This point has been made by Bibi Netanyahu for years:........
