Editorial: Justice's blindfold is off

On Wednesday, this editorial board sounded the alarm over President Donald J. Trump's use of compliant federal prosecutors as his personal hit squad, bringing the full force of the U.S. Justice Department to bear on those he sees as his enemies (among them: James Comey, the former FBI director; Letitia James, the New York attorney general; and Sen. Adam Schiff of California, who as a congressman was lead prosecutor in Mr. Trump's first impeachment trial).

But a corrupted justice system creates both losers and winners. Today, we'll spotlight some of those who have avoided investigation or prosecution because of their proximity to the president.
