Opposition MPs Write to Govt Seeking Parliament Special Session on Pahalgam Terror Attack

New Delhi: Amid a growing chorus for a special session of parliament on the Pahalgam terror attack, at least four letters have been written to the Union government by MPs demanding the same, including by the leaders of opposition of both houses. 

In two separate letters, leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge have written to prime minister Narendra Modi seeking a special session.

“At this critical time, India must show that we always stand together against terrorism,” Gandhi said in his letter.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge wrote to Modi asking for a special session at the earliest.
