A Paamonim mentor, Eitan, recently told me about a family he has been guiding for several months. He arrived for a meeting just as the school year was ending and the long summer vacation was beginning.

When he walked into the family’s home, he saw ten-year-old Alon sitting with his mother in front of the supermarket website. They were going over the weekly shopping order.

“Mom,” Alon said quietly, “let’s check if this is cheaper........
