Labor Mourns Jewish Victims. But Does It Fight For Living Jews?

The easiest Jew to support is a dead one.

A dead Jew costs nothing.

A dead Jew asks for nothing.

A dead Jew can be remembered, honoured and mourned without demanding uncomfortable decisions in the present.

That is why every year politicians stand before Holocaust memorials and solemnly declare “Never Again”.

The words come easily.

The applause follows.

But October 7 exposed a disturbing reality.

For decades, the Holocaust has been remembered with moral clarity.

October 7 was immediately debated.

The Holocaust is discussed as an evil.

October 7 was discussed as a context.

The Holocaust receives commemoration.

October 7 received qualifications.

Same targeting of Jews.

Completely different response.

Notice the difference.

Then ask yourself why.

On October 7, Hamas terrorists murdered approximately 1,200 people, wounded thousands more and dragged hundreds of hostages into Gaza.

Entire families were exterminated.

Children were murdered.

Young people attending a music festival were slaughtered simply for dancing.

The response should have been simple.

It should have been........
