Britain’s Parliament has devoted an extraordinary amount of attention to Israel and Gaza since the 2024 general election, driven in part by a group of newly elected independent MPs whose campaigns were closely tied to the conflict. Critics argue that this focus has displaced attention from pressing domestic concerns and distorted parliamentary priorities.
