True vulnerability and collapse occur when we succumb to temptation, deception, or incitement, thereby losing our direction and our foundational values. The true protection of a society, a community, or an individual is measured not only by its defensive systems or technological capabilities, but by the moral resilience and ethical backbone it cultivates from within.

Parashat Balak presents one of the most dramatic and compelling struggles in the Torah between good and evil, blessing and curse.
