Netanyahu, Trump Meeting in DC Positive

The Middle East continues to undergo rapid political and strategic changes, with alliances strengthening and regional priorities evolving in response to shared security concerns. Against this backdrop, the relationship between Israel and the United States remains a central pillar of regional stability. Recent meetings between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump suggest a renewed level of strategic coordination on issues ranging from Iran’s nuclear ambitions to regional diplomacy and the expansion of the Abraham Accords.

These developments also stand in contrast to longstanding criticism from political and media figures whom the late Rabbi Meir Kahane once described as persistent opponents of Israel’s national interests, writing, “Old witch hunters never die; they return in the form of Israeli liberal-leftist news media people, intellectuals, and politicians, along with presidents of Jewish establishment groups and rabbis in the United States.”
