The Sindh Chief Minister’s recent assertion that the Centre’s policies are impeding the province’s energy development is yet another reminder that political gridlock continues to come at a very real cost to the people. The grievances may be valid, but turning them into a public blame game achieves little beyond further deepening mistrust between federal and provincial leadership.

Regardless of where the bureaucratic bottlenecks or budgetary hurdles lie, the need for energy access in Sindh, particularly........
