Bampa's House, a Corning-based comfort care home that serves terminally ill people and their families in three counties, will hold one of its biggest fundraisers in early September.

Bampa's House will hold its ninth annual 5K run/walk starting at 9 a.m. Sept. 6 at the Craig Park pavilion in Painted Post.

Bampa's House, at 170 E. First St. in Corning, is a two-bedroom residence designed to fill a gap between nursing homes and in-home hospice care for terminally ill residents in Steuben, Chemung and Schuyler counties.
