Passing ‘New York For All' will keep Westchester safe

Over the past few weeks, ICE raids have sent shockwaves through Westchester County and across our state . A dairy worker and her children were detained without cause. A Bronx high school student was seized after complying with his court hearing. These aren't isolated incidents. They're part of a systematic campaign that now threatens the safety and prosperity of every Westchester resident.

Our local leaders must now decide whether to protect the foundation of what makes our communities strong or sit in silence as our neighborhoods are dismantled.

Immigrants serve as the economic engine of Westchester County. They staff our hospitals as nursing assistants, care for our children, build our homes and keep our essential services running. When we drive immigrants underground through fear and intimidation, we harm them while sabotaging our own economic future.

The numbers don’t lie: immigrant households in New York contributed over $31 billion in state and local taxes in 2023 alone........
