It has been 10 years since the Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour football program was formed with the merger of the former Bucket Game rivals.

While the team also known as the Schuyler Storm won just twice in 2024, including a forfeit victory, the program has seen considerable success heading into its 11th season.

WG/O-M had four consecutive winning seasons before last year, highlighted by a nine-win 2023 campaign. That has come while playing most seasons in Class C of Section 4, which has produced six state champs since 2015.

Rivalry matchups still exist between the schools in other sports, but football is a uniting force.
