Trump administration will lose legal battle with NY Times: Mulvaney

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said Monday that the Trump administration will lose a legal battle with The New York Times over journalists that reported on President Trump’s new Air Force One plane.

“My guess is, the administration will lose this. I’m not sure what the basis is for a lawsuit. Was there a national security leak? I have no idea. Again, I can’t leak anything because I don’t know anything, now, about it,” Mulvaney told NewsNation’s Connell McShane on “NewsNation Live.”

“I just know how it works generally, and I would be asking the exact same questions The New York Times was asking. So look, look when Trump, you know, when he gets upset, he lashes out, and I understand that,” added Mulvaney, who is a contributor to NewsNation.
