A majority of Pennsylvania voters back Gov. Josh Shapiro’s (D) job performance, according to a new poll.

In the Quinnipiac University poll, 60 percent of respondents said they back “the way Josh Shapiro is handling his job as governor,” while 28 percent said the opposite. Back in January 2024, Shapiro’s approval rating was 59 percent, while 23 percent did not back his job performance.
