De Blasio: Talarico’s ‘kitchen table’ talk ‘worst nightmare for Republicans’

Former New York Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) said Tuesday that Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico’s discussion of “kitchen table issues” is Republicans’ “worst nightmare” as Democrats look to clinch a Senate seat in the Lone Star State.

“When you listen to Talarico, he is going after billionaires. He’s saying they’re not paying their fair share of taxes. He is talking about commonsense kitchen table issues, which his opponent isn’t,” de Blasio told Fox News’s Sean Hannity.

“This is the worst nightmare for Republicans that Democrats actually get their act together and talk about the kitchen table,” he added.
