Record high say Trump not paying attention to most important problems: Survey

A record number of respondents in a new poll say they think President Trump is not paying enough attention to the most important problems Americans face daily.

CNN’s latest survey, released Wednesday, found that 73 percent of Americans accuse Trump of not prioritizing the top issues facing the country. Just over a quarter of Americans said he’s had the right priorities.

Majorities of Americans say Trump’s economic and military policies have worsened conditions, at 65 and 67 percent, respectively. Only 22 percent of Americans say the economy has improved based on his policies, and 21 percent say his military actions in Iran have helped the U.S., according to the poll.

The data also shows an increasing number of U.S. adults believe Trump lacks a strategy for the Iran war, at 74 percent. Only 67 percent of Americans previously said he had no plan for Iran, according to a similar CNN poll taken in March.
