6,000 student visas revoked: State Department
Six thousand foreign students saw their visas revoked since the start of the second Trump administration, the State Department revealed Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the department said the visas were rescinded for overstays and “law violation,” the “vast majority” consisting of assault, DUI, burglary and support for terrorism.
Roughly 4,000 of the individuals broke the law, according to the department, while 200 to 300 visas were revoked over support for terrorism, although it is not clear what standard........
