Secret Service says it’s aware of Iranian video threatening Barron Trump

The Secret Service on Tuesday said it was aware of a video threatening President Trump’s son, Barron, being circulated by Iranian state media. 

Clips suggest that Iran’s leaders are tracking Barron’s whereabouts and offering a $10 million reward to those who can provide insight into his location, according to reports from ABC News.

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,” Secret Service spokesperson Nate Herring said in a statement to NewsNation, The Hill’s sister network. 

“Out of concern for operational security, we do not discuss matters of protective intelligence,” Herring added.
