Fox Business host Larry Kudlow, who served as National Economic Council director during President Trump’s first term, scolded Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) during an interview Wednesday about the lack of big Republican accomplishments this year, warning “polls are lousy.”

“The socialists are winning, they’re taking over the Democratic Party. The Republicans are doing nothing. I mean you got stuff out there — the polls are lousy,” Kudlow declared at the start of the interview.

“There’s an economic boom and no one seems to know about it and today you had this very important article showing that people are paying more on tax payments than on food, clothing and shelter, and the Senate … the U.S. Republican Senate ain’t doing a thing about it,” Kudlow fumed, without citing which publication he was referencing.

Tuberville said he agreed with that criticism.
