Two welcome additions to the national power grid

The 201MW Reshma Power Plant in Raiwind was inaugurated by the federal minister for Water and Power on Saturday. Later in the day, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf also inaugurated a 132KV Grid Station in Kasur on Ferozepur Road. The Reshma Power Plant currently contributes 40MW, as test generation, to the national grid. While talking on the occasion, Ashraf termed energy as “the greatest challenge inherited by the incumbent government”.
