Wolves in White Coats: HHS Exposes the Racket Behind ‘Gender-Affirming Care’

For years, many of us have argued that so-called “gender-affirming care” for kids (read: sex-rejecting procedures) is neither caring nor affirming. It’s a euphemism for drugs and surgeries that sterilize and harm minors struggling with their sexed bodies. This madness may not have started as a fraudulent money-making scheme. But that’s where it ended up.

Now the federal government agrees and has released the evidence to prove it.

On Thursday, the Department of Health and Human Services released a report with a perfect title: “Wolves in White Coats: How Doctors and Hospitals Pushed and Profited from the Fraud of ‘Gender Medicine.’” It’s a milestone that follows the major scientific report on pediatric gender quackery published by HHS late last year. For the first time, this crucial federal agency has exposed how hospitals engineered a business model using the bodies of suffering kids.

Building on what we already know about the harms of these procedures, the report shows how the money moved. It draws on Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidance, Department of Justice investigations, peer-reviewed literature, hospital records, whistleblower testimonies, nationwide insurance claims, and interviews with patients and parents to show how an industry pushed and profited off so-called gender medicine.
