Fourth Grader Sends Letter To Republican Rep. Virginia Foxx. It Wasn’t Quite What You Would Expect

A fourth grader received a critical response from Republican North Carolina Rep. Virginia Foxx after he mailed Foxx a persuasive essay he had written for class.

The essay extolled the benefits of electric cars and urged the government to consider a tax rebate for those who buy new electric vehicles, the child’s mother, Emily Mango, wrote Saturday on Instagram. “The response back was so NOT OK,” said Mango, attaching a copy of Foxx’s alleged response.
