Norwegian biathlete Sturla Holm Lægreid won the bronze medal in Tuesday’s 20-kilometer biathlon. Minutes later, he broke down on television, admitting to cheating on the love of his life.

Lægreid’s ex began by congratulating Lægreid’s teammate, Johan-Olav Botn, on winning the gold medal in the same race, according to VG. She did not congratulate Lægreid himself. Ouch.
