According to Sports Business Journal’s Joe Lemire, Peacock is set to be the first streaming platform to adopt new Dolby technology designed to “enhance the sights and sounds of the games” when it comes to their broadcasts.

“Our livestreams on Peacock are already in HDR, and we introduced Dolby Atmos as well last year, which made a massive jump in the immersiveness,” stated NBCUniversal SVP of Global Video Engineering, David Bohunek, per
