IndyCar’s Freedom 250 Grand Prix Pulls In Gargantuan Television Ratings

Loads of race fans showed up for the NTT IndyCar Series’ Freedom 250 Grand Prix, which took place in Washington D.C. And not just that, but an incredible amount of people were watching on their television screens.

In fact, it was the series’ most-watched race for one that’s not the Indianapolis 500 since the 2008 merger between IRL and Champ Car.

According to FOX Sports, 3.282 million viewers watched open-wheel racing around some of D.C.’s most legendary landmarks. (RELATED: Enes Kanter........
