The statistics suggest that Swindon Town’s strong start to the season is not just a patch of form, and they will be able to continue contending in League Two.

In their fifth season at League Two level, the longest spell in the fourth tier in the club’s history, Swindon have their sights set on moving back up to League One, with Ryan Tafazolli saying that they should even be gunning for the title.

Despite having played a game fewer than everyone except for Notts County, Swindon are still second in the table, and could even go top when they play their game in hand on October 21.
