Swindon Town begin their season this weekend, and there will be plenty of intrigue around who Ian Holloway will pick to start the opener.

Swindon will be hoping to win their fourth match in seven trips to the Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium and extend their proud opening day record, which is the best of any current League Two side in the last ten seasons.

Ten new players have arrived this summer as Holloway has looked to bolster the squad, which had been the sixth-best side in League Two during 2025.
