Swindon Town players rated after late AFC Wimbledon victory

Kabongo Tshimanga’s pair of stoppage time penalties helped Swindon Town to an improbable 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon.

Former Oxford United man Marcus Browne seemed to have earned The Dons a vital three points and ended Town’s long home unbeaten streak, only for a mad five-minute spell after the board had gone up saw Tshimanga flip the game from the spot.

So, how did the players fare as individuals at the Nigel Eady County Ground?

GK: Connor Ripley – 7

What a fantastic performance from Ripley. He did not make a huge volume of saves, but the saves he made were straight from the top drawer. Even the goal was unfortunate as he had already made a great stop in that flurry.

RCB: Will Wright – 7

There was quite a lot placed on Wright, with Harry Smith and Billy Kirkman having about as much experience as each other as centre-backs. He generally marshalled things pretty well at the back in what was a largely organised unit.
