Swindon Town conceded the “world’s worst goal”, according to Ian Holloway, to lose at Walsall. What caused such a breakdown at the back?
Amidst all the disappointment of Town’s 2-1 loss to ten-man Walsall, Holloway was most frustrated with the manner of the winning goal as the sea parted for Connor Barrett to run from the back and tuck home the winner.
He said: “As a midfield player, for my team to leave that great big, gaping hole, and not only that, then the back line tries to play offside. I am staggered.”
