How can Swindon Town get their stadium rocking again?
Swindon Town are second in the league and have lost once at home all season, so why is the Nigel Eady County Ground not rocking?
13 minutes into the big clash at the top of League Two against Grimsby Town and, albeit slightly fortuitously, Swindon have a two-goal lead after hometown hero Billy Bodin wrapped the ball into the top corner. What should have been a euphoric moment in front of 8,000 supporters felt oddly dulled.
Between Swindon’s second goal and Grimsby’s first, I could only hear one round of “Eieieio up the Football League we go.” Meanwhile, the away end seemed to be having a much better time, even if much of that was jibes at the man who has picked up the most points in League Two in 2025.
