Defeat at Salford City was a missed opportunity for Swindon Town to plant their flag on League Two, but Finley Munroe proved he is their only un-droppable player.
Having passed the test against Crewe Alexandra to prove there was life after Harry Smith, Salford City felt like another big examination of Town’s credentials as a legitimate automatic promotion contender. Taking on a big-spending side who will doubtless be in the mix when we reach the endgame away from home was an opportunity to really stamp some authority for Swindon.
