Adver readers offered their thoughts on Swindon after we asked about the poshest place in Wiltshire.

Not only does Swindon have a beautiful array of parks and gardens – most notably hailed for its blossom at this time of year – but it is also recognised for its strong railway heritage, and of course, the Magic Roundabout.

While it may not be up there on the Sunday Times’ best place to live list (that one goes to Malmesbury), it still has its charm.
