Support and shock at pro-Palestine protest in Swindon

A protest held in Swindon after Israeli air strikes killed hundreds of people in Palestine received mixed reactions from Adver readers.

On Saturday morning, more than 100 people filled Regent Circus as Swindon Palestine Solidarity criticised the extensive bombardments that killed many civilians around Gaza which the IDF said were attacks on “terror targets”.

A Facebook post about the gathering received dozens of reactions, more than half of which were supportive, while others expressed anger at the public demonstration.
