Swindon Adver readers have reacted to news of Nationwide closing one of its Swindon offices.

Hundreds of staff currently based at Ramsbury House in Kembrey Park will be moved to the building society’s headquarters on Pipers Way next month.

Ramsbury House was hailed as a world-leading office space and major milestone for the business, which invested millions of pounds into setting it up.

But, following a review of office working practices, Nationwide has decided to close the tech hub to ensure its “offices are being used effectively, and we are spending members’ money efficiently”.
