A study suggesting that Swindon’s town centre is one of the safest in the UK sparked a lot of debate.

CCTV operator Get Licensed’s analysis of several towns and cities was met with plenty of disagreement and scepticism from locals.

Sonny Smith said: “The town centre will be turned to houses/flats with the outlet village being Swindon centre in the end. The new bus station is built to support workers going to Amazon and the newly built drone place.”

Tom Burford said: “Easy to make a town centre safe when there’s nothing open in it.”
