Since my last column I have announced my intention to stand in the Newport & Islwyn seat at next year’s Senedd elections.

If I am privileged to be chosen by Plaid Cymru members, I intend to demonstrate to the people of Newport and Islwyn over a long election period how a Plaid Cymru government would benefit their community and change their lives for the better.

Since my election I have worked in our communities and hold regular street surgeries.
