I am bitterly disappointed that 10 libraries in Caerphilly county now face closure after the council’s cabinet voted to close them.

Across the county borough, libraries in Aberbargoed, Abercarn, Abertridwr, Bedwas, Deri, Llanbradach, Machen, Nelson, Oakdale and Pengam look set to close their doors.

I am deeply worried about the effect these library closures will have on our communities. Because if these buildings close, they’ll close down........
