A weekend of live music events is planned across Gwent.

On Saturday, August 2, at 12pm, DJ Sammy will be performing at Newport Corinthians AFC.

Organisers boasted that the performance would be "the ultimate concert experience of the year."

CALON, a husband and wife duo, will perform at The Old Bridge End Inn in Pontnewydd, Cwmbran, on Saturday, at 9pm.
