Summer in South Wales is heating up with a packed calendar of vibrant food and music festivals.

Whether you're a foodie, a music lover, or just in the mood for seaside vibes and community fun, there's something for everyone across the region. Here’s a look at the confirmed events lighting up the summer of 2025 in South Wales:

📍 Cardiff Bay

📅 27–29 June

Cardiff Bay comes alive for three days of culinary indulgence at one of Wales’ biggest and most popular food festivals. Expect over 100 stalls featuring artisan producers, gourmet street food, craft drinks, and sweet treats. There's also a full programme of live music, chef demonstrations, and hands-on workshops. The Champagne Bar is a great spot for people-watching while sipping something sparkling. A perfect kickoff to summer in the capital.

📍 Victoria Park, Cadoxton, Barry

📅 12–13 July

Cadstock is a free, community-run music festival with a strong local following, now in its 15th year. The weekend will showcase 15 acts, ranging from choirs and solo artists to upbeat ska and rock bands like Black Jam Circus and The Four Horsemen. Alongside the music, there’ll be food vendors, family games, and a new expanded family area. It’s a laid-back, friendly weekend for all ages. Support from Barry Town Council and the local community has helped keep this grassroots........
