EastEnders fans have been left “confused” about one character from the Panesar family after spotting a “messy” error in an earlier episode this week.

It comes as the BBC soap showed Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) discussing a “sweet 16” party for his daughter Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), who is set to celebrate her birthday soon.

In the scene, Avani was also joined by her older brother Davinder 'Nugget' Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury), and he recommended the siblings start inviting friends ahead of the celebrations.

Avani then told Ravi: "Dad, I'm only 16 once y'know?"

But her brother then implied he will be turning 18 soon, as he said: "And my 18th ain't far away. I've got to celebrate that too."

However, Nugget’s comment has left many viewers puzzled by his real age, as they thought he was only due to turn 17 soon.
