Keep your spirits high this summer with sea shanties performed by Bois y Bryn.

Bois y Bryn – which translates to ‘boys of the hill’ – is an all-male Welsh Shanty Band based in Cwmbran. The 22 members are mostly from Newport and Cwmbran (including four members who play instruments including acoustic guitar and the banjo).

The group is made up of men with a passion for music and singing. They were already members of a local male voice choir and found themselves singing after practice in a local pub. When they found Sea Shanties, they gave it a whirl, and they........
