EastEnders' Jessie Wallace reveals how iconic 2001 scene should've been different
EastEnders star Lacey Turner, who plays Stacey Slater, has launched a new podcast called We Started Here and in the first episode she sat down with Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Slater in the soap.
In the first episode of the podcast the actresses discussed soap storylines including “the Kat and Zoe one” and how Jessie started her career in acting.
The pair also talked about why they think Kat Slater is such a popular character and how an iconic scene could’ve played out so differently.
Discussing the Kat and Zoe storyline, Wallace revealed how the iconic scene where she shouts “you ain't my Mother” should have been different.
