A star of ITV's Emmerdale has quit the soap, adding another to the recent trend of cast members quitting the show.

It's reported that actress Rachael Gill-Davis, who plays Gail Loman, will leave the soap just two years after joining.

Gail first arrived in Emmerdale six years ago for a brief moment but became a regular character in 2023 as the love interest to Ryan Stocks.

Now, Gail is set to leave following a secret child storyline that will see Gail and Ryan split.
