BBC adds new star to Call the Midwife with Sister Catherine
A new character is joining Call the Midwife, the BBC has confirmed.
Now airing its 14th series, the latest episode was packed with drama including a gas exploding and a baby born with spinal bifida.
Elsewhere, Nurse Joyce Hyland, played by Renee Bailey faced a situation that reminded her of her own childhood.
While Nurse Trixie Aylward, played by Helen George, was tasked with ensuring crucial financial aid for Nonnatus House.
