A popular Coronation Street star has broken her silence after being axed from the ITV show.

Paula Lane, who played the role of Kylie Platt, said she was "so grateful" for the opportunity, nine years after she was killed off.

The actress joined the show all the way back in 2010 and became a controversial fixture after her character sold her son, Max, to her half-sister Becky McDonald.
